no day is complete without a stroll through las calles.here's a pretty shop in palermo soho called "como quieres que te quiera" -- "however you want it is how it wants/loves you."

BsAs has soo many climbing trees! this is my favorite tree in my favorite plaza -- plaza vicente lopez. i like the man snoozing on the middle bench.
the recoleta cemetary is a buenos aires must-see; it's filled with tombs rather than tombstones, and houses the body of argentina's amor, eva perron (though her tomb is totally anti-climatically located on some random row and is nothing special). this is the entrance.
here's what it looks like inside -- large tombs that eerily resemble storefronts on rodeo drive rather than homes for dead people.
"don't cry for us, don't stop trying to ease the pain;look at the life that begins and not at that which has ended"
all that walking works up quite the appetite, particularly when dinner doesn't start until 10pm. here are roy and ofir eating 7 tons of steak at the best steakhouse in buenos aires -- la cabrera. as you can see by roy's face, israelis take steak consumption very seriously.
the boys were super excited by this. i believe something got lost in the spanish-to-hebrew-to-english translation, but it's cute nevertheless.
the boys flew back home to israel wednesday morning, but not before roy retraced his entire 2-month south american expedition for me. he could not understand why i thought this picture was funny.
and look who made it to BsAs! here's me and senor lichaa at a pretty little italian restaurant near my house having a scoop of vanilla gelato in a pool of espresso.that's what i've been up to! love you lots and see you in exactly dos semanas! besos.
