my first sight of the city: plane's-eye view.
to get to cheryl's: exit the flughafen, take above-ground train to Alexanderplatz, switch to below-ground train and get off at Eberswalderstrasse. follow Eberswalderstrasse to Danzigerstrasse, and make left on Dunckerstrasse.
mission accomplished! went to dinner at...a spanish restaurant.
who knew the only good spanish food is in berlin?
next stop: dessert at super cute ice cream parlor. here's my new friend Pascale bringing us an AMAZING waffle/chocolate syrup/vanilla ice cream/m&ms creation he made for us.
it was essentially the best thing i have ever had.
then, cheryl's friend invited us out to a russian bar, so we had to go. here's us at CCCP with the toys Pascale gave us (after telling him how fabsy his waffle was).
next morning (thursday): cheryl heads off to work...
i head off to walk. but not before getting a muesli cup at the kaffee hauser.i saw:
why won't you fit in my backpack
at the mall.
gift shop goods.
checkpoint charlie.
i laughed at this guy when he took my picture thinking "sweet angle dude." but it actually came out kinda cool!

six hours later, i met up with cheryl at her work. this is the coolest studio i've ever seen.
we headed out for the night, and took a walk through the park. we found: fun slides...
trampoline mania...
and a rive. cool!
