other happenings this weekend:
friday night, chris invited me to a party at his friend's house. it was so great, there were like 10 people there, all from different countries -- spain, germany, venezuela, wales, ireland, etc.
me and my new venezuela/ireland friends.ps: nemecheck, the glasses were stolen from chris's roommate and used purely as a prop. i think they make me look very euro.
the next morning, i woke up and was amused to find out this is still happening in spain. wasn't felicity canceled in like 1994?after i had enough "should i date noel or ben?" drama, i rolled out of bed and hit the streets ready to do some shopping.
however, i soon realized my options were either this.
or this.what is up with putting out the winter clothes already? who is trying on a mink coat when it's 95 degrees outside?
so, realizing that wasn't going to work, i decided to focus on shoes, namely, a replacement for my marbella disaster.
but after going to about 7000 shoe stores, it became clear that while the spanish people are ridiculously skinny, they have monster feet. one row for size 6 and like 52 for sizes 7-10?so pequena pie had to move on to plan b.
montjuic.
barcelona from up high
cool, but no thank you.
paella dinner on the beach with roomies.so that's the scoop. tomorrow i am heading to sitges, a town about an hour away, for sun, sand, and cobblestone. kisses.
and, to wingzi, i hope you appreciate the extreme photography involved in snapping the following shots. love you, can't wait to see you.
