then i went for a walk on the beach. i don't understand how the g/u could be comfortable, but this guy was chilling there for the entire 10 minutes i waited for him to get out of my picture.
and then i started hearing noise. and seeing a lot of these stands.
and getups like these.
i went to the main street and found out -- malaga was having a festival!
i don't know what they're celebrating, and i don't think they do either, but it might be something "i love malaga" related.
the streets were decorated with these hanging balls.
this guy was playing awesome drums/blowing music. i have a video but it takes forever to load on blogger. anyone can help? it sounds so cool. i gave him a euro.
they were all into these flowers. mama what are they called, dandelions?
the streets were packed with thousands of spaniards carrying sangria and mojitos and cervezas and singing and going nuts. i was busy doing the recommended walking tour on my tourist map when this group of gay guys stopped me and said, "joo look like a sweemer, a sweemer in pekin (beijing), gold in pekin!" i was like yeah. they kept asking me questions and did the dos besos and when dos besos seemed to turn into more i realized they weren't gay, they were just spanish. so i decided to book it.
after all the craziness, i went back to my hotel. i think it's funny they offer a "putting green." i think it was more like wii golf.
in my room, i played with all the hotel's free stuff. no item went unused, including the razor, toothbrush, bathrobe and slippers.ahh so i just made it to barcelona. it's 3am, will say hi again soon!
and good luck to all the boalties starting their first day of school! emily you better stop by ba for me...muah!
